Dip-Testing Guidance

Public Health England has published guidance on the diagnosis of UTI's. Along with this guidance and a campaign by CHFT to 'Ditch the Dip-stick' we are providing these publications to support practices in reviewing current practice and procedures. The PHE guidance is available here and the CHFT Campaign poster here .

GPDF Publish PCN Guidance

The above guidance has just been published to support the implementation process for the new networks. The guidance includes support on completing the required schedules, role of the Clinical Director, pro's and cons on the various delivery models and other useful help. Further Network DES Guidance

BMA PCN Handbook - Updated June 21

This week saw an update from NHSe on the Network DES Guidance. This brings further clarity on a number of key areas that have raised many questions nationally. You can find a full version of the updated guidance here.

New Support Information from NHSe - Tier 2 Visa Applications

NHS England has produced guidance and a supporting presentation on the process for submitting tier 2 visa applications for GP's wishing to work in this country from overseas.

Tier 2 is an employer-led visa category which means that employers must be registered with the Home Office in order to sponsor any skilled workers they wish to recruit from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
Non-EEA GP trainees in the UK must have a Tier 2 visa in order to study here. During the duration of their studies they are sponsored by Health Education England. Information is available here
