ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER FOR CALDERDALE PRACTICE
LONGROYDE SURGERY, RASTRICK, BRIGHOUSE, HD6 3HT
An opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team. We are a well organised practice in Rastrick, Brighouse, who strive to consistently provide high quality care to all our patients. Our growing list size currently stands at over 4800 patients. We offer excellent appointment access without telephone triage and our patient feedback is consistently positive.
The practice is a member of Calderdale ICB, Pennine GP Alliance, and the Lower Valley Primary Care Network.
Key information
- 20 hrs p/w per week, to include Monday 9:00-5:30pm, Tuesday 1:30pm-5:30pm, Wednesday 9:00-5:30pm.
- Practice team consists of 1 GP principal, 3 salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses and an efficient reception / administration team.
- SystmOne clinical system
Key skills
- Autonomous decision making, based on assessment, diagnosis, and interpretation of test results.
- Independent prescriber.
- Ability to assess an undifferentiated patient population.
- Order appropriate investigations
- Provide clinical support to GP’s.
- Refer to secondary care where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Degree qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical skills.
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Meets NMC revalidation standards.
