Covid19 Daily Briefing 24 June

**Email sent on behalf of the LMC, Clinical Directors and NHS Calderdale CCG**

a) Safe Working Practices in COVID-19 and Assurance

The CCG has written to all practices in Calderdale requesting assurance in relation to ensuring that, as practices consider changing their operating model to start and provide full service, appropriate working processes, risk assessments and environmental changes have been put in place to protect patients and staff.

In order to assist practices in providing assurance, a document has been attached to the key messages today - a COVID-19 Framework that has been developed by Wakefield CCG and adapted. This provides practices with a checklist to ensure that due consideration to the requirements within guidance have been made when considering re-opening practices. Completion is not mandatory but recommended.

Additionally there is a one hour on line session being planned with Rob Gibson (CCG Health and Safety Manager) and a representative from the Infection, Prevention and Control Team for practice managers to join if desired. The session intends to give a brief overview of requirements but provide opportunity for a Question and Answer Session to help with planning. Confirmation of date and time will follow.
