Noah's Ark Centre For Counselling and Psychotherapy Services
Noah's Ark Centre are pleased to advise that their counselling and psychotherapy services for children, young people and adults are now open to new referrals from clients. Below is a copy of an email communication from the team informing GPs of services which may be useful for their patients:
Following a review of our counselling services, Noah's Ark Centre has decided to change how the cost of counselling is covered. From 1st February 2018, counselling for adults and young people (16+) will be on a suggested donation basis (£5-£30). We would encourage those who can afford it to pay more, so that we can continue to offer the service to people on a lower income.
We continue to seek funding from the NHS, charitable trusts and other funding bodies to continue the therapeutic work that we know is valued in the local community and across Calderdale.
We are unique in Calderdale in that we offer long-term counselling. Our counsellors work in a range of therapeutic models: person-centred, relational, integrative, CBT, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis (TA).
We encourage organisations to refer individuals to Noah's Ark Centre - or people can refer themselves. Please ring 01422 300457 to make a referral.
