As a result of a letter from the Ombudsman, the APC had discussed the NHS England algorithm for gender dysphoria, which requested the GP to initiate hormone treatment. It was agreed that this was against the advice of the GPC. It was noted that this was an NHS England commissioned service and therefore not a local APC issue. The APC requested a robust LMC response. It was agreed to raise this issue at the WY LMCs’ meeting.
