Welcome to Calderdale Local Medical Committee’s (LMC) website which offers a wealth of useful downloads and resources. We have News sections and links to help keep you up to date, as well as live news feeds, so that you are aware of the changes affecting General Practice as they occur.
The LMC is made up of GPs elected by you and your peers and serves the needs of GP Partners, Salaried and Locum GPs working within Calderdale.
We provide advice and support to assist GPs as they navigate the ever changing nature of the NHS. As an independent body we can act as an advocate and offer help on all matters relevant to general practice.
The LMC members meet bi-monthly at their office, E Mill, Dean Clough Mills, Halifax and GPs are welcome to attend, the meetings are also available to join via Microsoft Teams. Representatives from the Practice Managers, Calderdale ICB, Public Health and Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust are always invited.
